This is a nice free camping site with easy access to the water for shore bound fisherman and a boat ramp if you have a boat.
Snakes, lizards, birds and any other small critter are gone. Some may think snakes being gone are a good thing but that always has a negative impact on the local ecosystem.
Free campground. Primitive as camping goes. Boat ramp access. Some camping spots have natural lake access which is conveinent. There is one main restroom in camp. There's also a picnic area with a portable restroom and picnic tables. Overall a quiet off the path campground. Minimal light pollution at night.
The reason for four stars is the ferrel cats. You expect if you leave food out at night wildlife will get into it, but not just turning your back and having cats run up and tear it apart or climbing all over your vehicles searching for anything they can find.
We won't camp there again until the cats are removed. They were worse than raccoons.
